Turning travel time into meaningful moments during Ramadan.
Uber has always been about connecting people to places. But we wanted to do more to connect people to people, especially during Ramadan. A time to break fast, practice forgiveness and build connections between friends and family.
We gave Uber riders a more meaningful way to spend their rides and make use of their ride time to reconnect with loved ones over video call. Cars were fitted with free Wi-Fi and tablets designed for riders to call their loved ones anywhere in the world.
We also created a microsite, accessible from the app, for people to send Eid / Hari Raya greeting cards to their families and friends.
The animdated cards were designed by noted local illustrators in each of Uber's SEA markets: Nur Aida Sai'ad (Singapore), Putri Febriana (Indonesia) and Azah Azreen (Malaysia).
