Made in Vietnam

A contemporary spin on Vietnam's origin story, commissioned by Apple.

Vietnam has long been defined by outsiders looking in. Today, young Vietnamese are using creativity to express a strong unique identity that is all their own.

To make Vietnam proud that Apple sees their world as they do, we worked with local creators Yenjii Vu and Phuong Vu to express fresh perspectives from Vietnam that the world may not know about — and capture the smallest details of their vision with iPhone's 48 megapixel camera.

Descendants of dragons and fairies.

The story Yenjii and Phuong chose to portray is a creation myth of the Vietnamese people, the story of Lac Long Quan and Au Co.

Legend has it that thousands of years ago, a dragon prince married a fairy princess, giving birth to the Vietnamese people.
